NATURAL ROSE WATER EYE WASH

Eye washes are advised for people who suffer from eye problems. This homemade eye wash made with fresh rose petals is very good for relieving tired eyes. Homemade eye washes can be very cost effective and easy to make at home. Eye washes helps the eyes feel refreshed and brighter.

This homemade eyewash also can be used for a long time without any side effects. Rose petals have gentle antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, thus making it great for using it in eye washes.

Remember to prefer Paneer Roses over any other roses, for their fresh refreshing smell. Make sure to use only pesticide free roses. This homemade eye wash also contain rose water. Try to make your own rose water, it is very easy to make it and stores well in the refrigerator. If you don't get paneer variety roses try to use any pesticide free roses that you get.

People who have itchy, tired, red, dry and swollen eyes will greatly benefit from this rose eye wash. If you are a person who spends a lot of time in front of the computer, then try using this homemade eye wash at least weekly twice. You will find that your eyes are refreshed and lot less tired.

To make this eye wash, boil distilled water in a pan, once it comes to boil add all the fresh rose petals and switch off the flame. Once the water comes to room temperature, strain and add the rose water. Store the eye wash in an earthen pot. Use this homemade eye wash to wash your eyes.

Since our eyes are very sensitive, try not to use tap water, as it may contain impurities. To perform the eye wash you can either wash your eyes directly with it else immerse the eyes in the rose water by placing it in a cup. Make sure the eye wash comes in direct contact with the eyes. Discard the eye wash, once you have used it. Always make a fresh batch of this eye wash every day, for best results.

Ingredients -

> Distilled water – 1 Cup

> Fresh rose petals – ½ Cup

> Rose water – 2 tbsp

Method -

- Wash the roses well and separate the petals form the flower.

- Boil distilled water in a pan, once it comes to a boil add all the fresh rose petals at once and switch off.

- When it reaches room temperature, strain and add the rose water.

- You can transfer the eye wash to an earthen pot and use it throughout the day. Discard the eye wash once you use it. Don't store this eye wash for more than a day.

Note --

* Use only pesticide free roses.

* Make sure to sterilize the cups you are using, this is especially important if you have eye irritations or allergies.

* Try to make this eye wash with homemade rose water.

* The earthen pot keeps the rose water cool.
